Israeli software to help protect vital U.S. sites

Agent Vi, an enterprise video analytics software company, has partnered with national systems engineering firm Abeo Technical Solutions LLC to provide video analytics software for the Potomac Basin Security System (PBSS) project.

The area includes Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Bolling Air Force Base and the Washington Navy Yard. Funded by the Naval Air Systems Command, the PBSS project combines biometrically enabled access control, geospatial technology, radar surveillance, video analytics and other sensor technologies to protect transportation facilities, secure areas and critical infrastructure. Agent Vi’s technology is currently deployed in more than 25 countries. [end] 

SCM Microsystems Inc., a provider of products, services and solutions for the security and identification industries, announced that it and Hirsch Electronics have teamed up with local partner Native Systems to deliver a smart access control solution to the Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA) in Abu Dhabi.
