Sagem Sécurité to provide voter registration system for the Republic of Guinea
The Inter-Agency Procurement Services Office has chosen Sagem Sécurité to supply voter registration kits for the Republic of Guinea (Guinea-Conakry), within the scope of the United Nations Development Program and the project for the registration and revision of voter lists (PERLE). Sagem Sécurité will supply 1,000 portable enrollment stations and an Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Independent Electoral Commission. These systems will be used to register voters’ biometric data in order to establish secure voter lists.
