bioMETRX announces former Sequiam executives join company

bioMETRX announced that several key executives from the former Sequiam Corp. will be working with the company in various roles. Former CEO Chris Barrow and former Chief Biometric Officer and President Kevin Henderson will work with bioMETRX to offer continuation to customers.

Chris Barrow will work on global operations and long-term strategic development on behalf of bioMETRX. Kevin Henderson, V.P. of Business Development at bioMETRX will work closely with the COO in defining and pursuing business opportunities for the company. [end] 

bioMETRX has finalized its purchase and integration of former competitor Sequiam.

BioMETRX’s hope is that many of the biometric products previously offered by Sequiam will help compliment their new smartTOUCH fingerprint recognition products. In addition to the product lines gained in the transaction, bioMETRX now has access to Chinese manufacturing and some large company accounts that were previously held by Sequiam.

SmartMetric, a developer of portable biometric solutions, has announced that its biometric activated data card can now be used to contain full medical history and health records on the individual. The card, called the SmartMetric Data Card, is a standard sized card that has the capability of holding multiple pages of data as well as being inaccessible without the holder first scanning his fingerprint on the card itself.

The new solution utilizes gesture biometrics via a user’s mouse and is envisioned to provide distance-learning students a more effective and secure means of accessing personal student files, discussion groups and other private areas of school networks.
