OKI upgrades software development kit

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

OKI Electric has made improvements to its Software Development Kit for fingerprint authentication. While the first SDK was only compatible with slide sensors, demand for touch sensors has been increasing for applications in door locks, access control and ID terminals aimed at users of all ages.

OKI added a software interface to the new SDK to enable customers to easily connect their desired sensor of various types. [end]
