M2SYS fingerprint software integrated with medical marijuana dispensary management solution

M2SYS Technology has finalized an agreement with IMCL (Innovative Marijuana Caregiver Logistics), a provider of inventory and patient management solutions to the medical marijuana dispensary industry.

Through this agreement, IMCL has exclusive rights to integrate the Bio-Plugin fingerprint solution with its CA-MMPR patient registry product enabling their clients to securely control patient access to dispensary products. Bio-Plugin enables companies like IMCL to add a biometric identification component to their existing applications without a fingerprint software development kit. [end] 

Retail Pro International, a developer of retail industry management software solutions, has announced a partnership with biometric technology developer M2SYS.

The new partnership will see Retail Pro’s RightPOS solution, a point-of-sale-based solution for authenticating users of a register as they process transactions and for employee time and attendance, integrated with M2SYS’s Hybrid Biometric Platform. The partnership will enable any client using RightPOS to do away with employee passwords or PINs for authentication purposes.

These factors include what a user knows, such as PINs or passwords, things you have, such as smart cards, contactless identity cards or Bluetooth devices, and things you are, such as fingerprints.

Cannabis Medical Solutions, a developer of various technology solutions for medical marijuana dispensaries, has announced the development of a biometric-based kiosk solution.

The new kiosks, called Cannabis Medical Terminals, require biometric authentication that will enable a registered patient with a valid prescription on file to register, order, pay for and receive their medication.
