Avalon receives $7.5 million order for BSG’s “The Vault”
Avalon Technology Group, a developer of software, manufacturing and security technologies, has received an order for $7.5 million of their biometric mouse and flash drive products. The order for the products came from the BSG Group and will be used in their nationwide identity, security and child protection service called The Vault. The service from BSG will also utilize child protection software and identity theft insurance provided by an international insurance company.
BSG intends to take on current identity theft protection market leading companies like LifeLock and Trusted ID with their new service and are expecting their multi-faceted service covering insurance, security hardware, and software. Additionally, BSG will be offering their 24 hour alert service for clients, called the Early Alert System, designed to alert clients by phone of any pertinent information regarding their security. If BSG is successful in their efforts, they have an agreement setup with Avalon for another $5 million order of biometric hardware later in the year. The Vault service is scheduled for launch on August 15th.
