Lumidigm enters agreement with Methode to bring biometrics into transportation

Lumidigm, a New Mexico-based biometrics company, has entered into an agreement with Methode, a technology-specific automotive supplier, to bring biometrics to new markets such as transportation.

The intent behind the partnership is to utilize biometrics to increase security and convenience in common consumer products such as cars. Specifically, Methode entered into the agreement in hopes of introducing biometric for keyless entry to vehicles, ignition authorization, personalization of in-car settings and using biometric authentication for authorizing transactions via in-car telecommunication devices. [end] 

Newport Digital Technologies, Inc. and Summit Government Group have entered into an agreement to promote sales of the N37B rugged mobile computing device.

NPDT’s N37B rugged mobile computer is a device, certified by AT&T, for industrial applications such as inventory management, asset tracking, health care, law enforcement, field service/sales applications, and meter reading. In addition, the N37B is built to military standards, MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-810F, making it an ideal solution for government and military applications as well.
