Lumidigm signs new reseller

Lumidigm Inc., a biometric sensor provider, announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Brand New Technologies, a South African firm that specializes in biometrics security solutions.

Under this agreement, Lumidigm and Brand New will jointly develop opportunities for biometric applications in multiple industries including mining, healthcare, finance and civil identification. Cooperative marketing efforts are underway. Lumidigm will attend the Biometrics Consortium Conference in Tampa, Fla. today and the company will be demonstrating its products and technologies at the Technology Expo through September 25. [end] 

SmartMetric, a developer of portable biometric solutions, has announced that its biometric activated data card can now be used to contain full medical history and health records on the individual. The card, called the SmartMetric Data Card, is a standard sized card that has the capability of holding multiple pages of data as well as being inaccessible without the holder first scanning his fingerprint on the card itself.
