BSI releases update of biometric standards list
Biometrics Services International has announced the release of their newest upgrade to the list of published and emerging biometric standards. The report includes 15 new or updated standards bringing the total in the list to 79. In addition to the 15 new standards there are 70 that are in the works for future list upgrades.
Among the biometric areas that will see new standards are biometric visas, travel document machines, identity assurance accessible via the Web, as well as standards for testing and sharing information. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/thirdfactor-4.gif)
