Daon, a developer of identity assurance software, has announced it will be developing a biometric messaging platform for the European Union’s developing Biometric Matching System (BMS) that will see the biometric databases and systems for 29 countries in the EU integrated into one. Daon will be working with Accenture and Sagem Defense Securite, the companies currently developing the BMS.
