Monday, November 17, 2008 in News

City Credit Union (CCU), a not-for-profit financial organization based in Texas, has purchased and implemented a biometric access control system from biometric developer US Biometrics.

The system offered that CCU chose is AccessQ, a fingerprint-based access control system. Additionally, due to an incentive program offered to CCU, they were able to purchase and implement the system over period of time while allowing for the implementation to be altogether more affordable.

According to CCU executives, the change was implemented as a way to improve both security and convenience for employee access. In addition to the AccessQ hardware, the purchase also includes the CentralQ software that allows for enrollment, storage and multiple administrative tools. [end]
