Cogent agrees to partnership with Intercede

Cogent Systems, a developer of biometric technology, has signed a partnership agreement with Intercede Solutions so that Cogent will resell Intercede’s MyID Identity and Credential Management System as part of its own Cogent Personal Identity Verification Identity Management Solution. Cogent and Intercede have worked in the past on the Environmental Protection Agency’s EPASS program. [end] 

XERAFY, provider of EPC Gen2 RFID read-on-metal solutions, announced a strategic partnership with foreign material exclusion provider, Access Solutions LLC.

From the partnership Access Solutions’ FME S.T.A.R.trac SM will integrate XERAFY’s EPC Gen2 RFID-on-metal ROM tags, enhancing accountability and maintenance methods by enabling power generation and aviation organizations to track objects with real-time visibility data and prevent foreign object damage.

Cogent Systems, a developer of biometric solutions, has announced that it’s been awarded a contract by the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) for replacement of the office’s Automated Finger Imaging System (AFIS) with a new one. The office uses their AFIS to biometrically authenticate the identities of their benefit recipients to ensure correct benefits are being disbursed and fraud is not taking place.
