Authenware expands into France

Thursday, June 25, 2009

Authenware, a Miami, Fla.-based biometrics developer, has announced that it has come to an agreement with JVL, a French reseller of data-security products, to gain distribution to France and other French speaking countries in Europe for their biometric keystroke software called Authentest.

AuthenTest operates as a second-factor authentication by comparing the way in which a user types in a username and password to ensure it is the actual user trying to gain access to trusted zones. Officials are reporting this as another successful step in Authenware’s ongoing efforts to expand their presence in Europe. [end]

SimplexGrinnell and GuardRFID have executed a distribution agreement that formally provides SimplexGrinnell access to GuardRFID’s products and solutions.

This new relationship will allow SimplexGrinnell to expand offerings to its health care customers. It will enable them to offer features such as GuardRFID’s TotGaurd system, and the wander prevention and asset locating systems to more healthcare facilities.
