AssureSign receives certification for operations

AssureSign, a developer of electronic signature technology, has announced its achievement of enterprise-wide SAS-70 Type I Certification for operations issued by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The certification points to adequate controls and security measures being in place to protect consumer data that is stored by the company. AssureSign officials say they are elated by the certification and confident that it will strengthen their image as a company that is committed to protecting their customers’ sensitive data. [end] 

IC-TAG Solutions announced it has earned certification from Alien Technology to use its EPC Gen 2 RFID inlays.

IC TAG utilizes Alien Technology’s EPC Gen 2 Squiggle, Squiglette, and Square inlays in their IC-TAG RFID labels and tags. Alien uses its own proprietary microchip, Higgs 3, to produce its ultra-high frequency RFID tracking devices.
