Muhlbauer tapped by De La Rue for biometrics program assistance

The Mühlbauer Technology Group, a developer of technology for large ID projects, has announced that they have been chosen by De La Rue Identity Systems, a biometrics systems developer, to assist them with a biometric passport program by providing equipment to support for the production of the passports.

In total, Muhlbauer is set for $10 million worth of equipment as well as $6 million in service and support for the systems. The contract is regarding a specific passport project, but the country was not disclosed. [end]
