Sandata implements PerSay solution

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

Sandata Technologies, a provider of information technology solutions for health care and social services industries, has announced the release of a speaker verification tool resulting from a partnership with voice biometrics developer PerSay. The tool was developed for Sandata’s time and attendance tracker called Santrax which is a telephone and Web-based field management solution.

Santrax serves as a way of determining whether employees working in the field or away from a central area are in the right place and at the right time, which can be necessary in such industries as home care.

One of the main factors that led to Sandata selecting PerSay’s solution was its independency on language and accents for authentication as well as its high security and administration tools. Sandata is reporting enthusiasm from their customers with the addition of biometrics to their time and attendance solution. [end]
