CSC lab receives ISO/IED accreditation

Monday, December 14, 2009

The Computer Science Corporation (CSC), a developer of biometric and other technological solutions, has announced that it has received International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025:2005 accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation for their Test Lab, a biometrics testing laboratory for CSC’s Identity Labs in West Virginia.

The accreditation serves as recognition of the lab’s competence and attention to requirements and international standards set out by the international community.

Such recognition will enable the Test Lab to perform testing in an official capacity for biometric technologies. CSC’s Test Lab is only second biometrics testing lab to receive the ISO/IEC accreditation. [end]
