AOptix inks agreement with Daon

AOptix Technologies, a developer of iris-based biometric solutions, has announced it has joined the DaonAdvantage Program. The DaonAdvantage program is a partnership that will enable AOptix’s InSight iris recognition system to be integrated into Daon’s identity assurance platform following testing and certification.

AOptix InSight touts accurate scans of an iris from up to two meters away.


In addition to seeing a new venue for bring their product to new customers, AOptix has also been able to install their InSight system at the Daon Demo Center where it will be used in an integrated iris interoperability demonstration created by Daon. [end]

Global Rainmakers Inc. (GRI) has announced it has reached a channel distribution agreement with APL Access & Security, a developer of access control and other security technology, for APL to resell and integrate GRI’s iris technology into its access control solutions. The agreement would potentially see Global Rainmakers’ technology in use by many of APL’s exiting clients which include both government and enterprise organizations.

Daon, a developer of identity assurance software, has announced that it has been chosen to provide software to help power the Government of Mexico’s National Service of Personal Identification program. Daon was choosen by biometrics developer Unisys who had been contracted for the program.
