DigitalPersona tapped for payroll fraud solution

DigitalPersona has announced that wireless retailer Prime Communications has implemented DigitalPersona’s U.are.U fingerprint solution in an effort to reduce payroll fraud. The solution from DigitalPersona is combined with retail management software called RQ4 developed by iQmetrix and is expected by Prime officials to help reduce labor costs through more reliable punch times and eliminating buddy-punching. [end] 

Software supplier Vizual Management Solutions, announced the release of a new biometric time and attendance tracking software. The software, called CaptureIT, tracks hourly employees’ clock-in and out times by requiring biometric data, such as a fingerprint, to ensure that the employee using the clock is who they claim to be. In addition to the basic functions of the software, it can also link up with a company’s payroll system to ease the requirements of a HR staff creating paychecks and can integrate with access control systems.

Automated Valet has released a valet operating system that includes a biometric time and attendance feature. The system, called AVPM, marks a potential change in the valet industry wherein hours worked may be more accurately tracked as compared to the multitude of traditional hour tracking systems valets normally use including manual reporting.

DigitalPersona has announced the release of new biometric solution for digital access management, data protection and communication security.

The solution, called DigitalPersona Pro Enterprise, is capable of full disk encryption, two-factor virtual private network authentication utilizing biometrics and smart cards, fingerprint biometrics, is integrated with Microsoft Active Directory and can all be managed from a central system.

Legiant has announced a partnership with biometric technology developer Fulcrum Biometrics that yielded a low-cost biometric time and attendance tracking solution for employers. The new solution is called FbF Timeclock and utilizes a virtual time clock that an employee clocks in or out via a USB fingerprint scanner connected to a computer and integrates with Legiant’s Timecard software.
