New fingerprint solution created through BIO-key MorphoTrak partnership

BIO-key International has announced a new contract that requires a biometric solution built off a combination between its and fellow biometric developer MorphoTrak’s matching algorithms, according to a UPI article.

The contract, which came from an unnamed overseas customer, stipulates a large-scale fingerprint solution. For such systems MorphoTrak has partnered with others in the industry before. In 2009 MorphoTrak partnered with Lockheed Martin for a fingerprint solution for the FBI.

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has added features and enhancements to its MForce latent fingerprint processing product.

In an effort to reduce operation times and costs, HRS has developed MForce as a mobile biometric product that enables law enforcement officers and military to obtain and process latent and livescan fingerprints in the field. By processing prints onsite, users are able to quickly provide investigators with intelligence.
