Voice Biometric Conference to focus on security solutions

The Voice Biometrics Conference starts March 23 in Amsterdam with officials and experts from companies offering voice recognition systems sharing insights and experiences on overcoming real world challenges such as creating effective customer care services without forfeiting security.

Officials from biometrics developers Atos Origin, Nuance, Datapoint, Leading Software, Speechouse and Voxeo are expected with audience members ranging from the biometrics industry to financial services, customer care, government services, telecommunications and law enforcement. [end] 

AGNITIO announced the launching of KIVOX mobile, a product for secure authentication in mobile devices using a person’s voice.

During the Voice Biometric Conference held in New York, AGNITIO showed the capabilities of the new software that is able to perform a voice authentication on Android smart phones or tablets without being connected to a network.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has added interactive voice response technology (IVR) from Angel, a provider of cloud-based customer engagement management products, for its LexisNexis IVR on Demand for Identity Proofing and Voice Biometrics product.

CSC has partnered with identity authentication technology and services provider Daon to produce a biometric multifactor authentication service for the banking industry. The product, called ConfidentID Mobile, provides in and out-of-band identity authentication for transactions in multiple channels, including online and mobile.

The U.S. government’s Advanced Analytic Capabilities Subgroup of the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) has awarded a research and development contract to voice biometrics technology provider Agnitio Corp. to speed up development and deliver an improved capabilities for voice biometrics-based mobile phone security.
