Precise ranks first in government test

Precise Biometrics has been ranked at the top of the list in the MINEX II report for its match-on-card solutions speed and performance.

The MINEX II tests, which are performed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, tests the interoperability for Match-on-Card systems.

The news is important to Precise as a recent directive in the U.S. government is requiring government agencies, a total of 5.7 million users, to be implementing personal identification verification systems starting 2012.

With the MINEX II results being used as a key standard of quality for these new projects, Precise officials see the company’s technology as a fit for work with the U.S. Government. [end]
