Retail Pro and M2SYS partner for enhanced solution

Retail Pro International, a developer of retail industry management software solutions, has announced a partnership with biometric technology developer M2SYS.

The new partnership will see Retail Pro’s RightPOS solution, a point-of-sale-based solution for authenticating users of a register as they process transactions and for employee time and attendance, integrated with M2SYS’s Hybrid Biometric Platform. The partnership will enable any client using RightPOS to do away with employee passwords or PINs for authentication purposes.

The new system, which accepts four different biometric scanners, is expected to help Retail Pro’s customers streamline employee operations but also see a return on their investment through a drop in shrinkage and elimination of buddy punching. [end]
