M2SYS announces tweet chat on biometrics

Tuesday, October 4, 2011

M2SYS has announced it will be conducting the first Tweet on the social media site Twitter bringing in the new hashtag #biometricchat in an effort to increase open dialogue about the technology on the popular platform on Oct. 6 from 11am to 12pm EST.

The hope in introducing the tweet chat is to bring new conversations and concerns to those involved in the industry while also creating an open platform for experts to share their knowledge both with each other and the general public.

The initial conversation M2SYS is planning for will be led by James Baker, a political consultant for the UK’s anti-ID card and biometric database of citizens NO2ID campaign, with the goal being to answer five questions during the hour and provide a forum for comments between others following the topic.

Following the initial conversation, M2SYS is planning on hosting subsequent single topic conversations at the same time on each month’s first Thursday with November’s topic being biometrics in health care. [end]
