RISE Project holds concluding conference covering research and innovation

The Rising pan-European and International Awareness of Biometrics and Security Ethics (RISE) Project has announced it will be concluding its biometrics conference covering responsible research and innovation in biometrics on December 1 - 2.

Among the specific items covered at the concluding days of the conference will be the presentation of the RISE and similar biometric project HIDE-generated European Biometric Association (EBA) and the EBA Special Committee on Ethical and Societal aspects of Biometrics.


In addition to the presentation, the conference is planning special speakers from the European Data Protection Directive, the Russian Security Industry Association, Institut français d’analyse stratégique, The World Bank, the Data Security Council of India.

The December conference will be set at the Rue Mont des Arts/ Rue Ravensteinstraat 2 in Brussels. [end]
