Precise announces partnership with Thursby

Precise Biometrics announced a partnership with security software developer Thursby Software, which will be integrating Precise’s smart casing solution with Thursby’s security app for mobile devices.

The new solutions makes use of the smart casing, a case that fits over smart phones and mobile devices and enables biometric and smart card authentication via the device. By integrating the biometric authentication with Thursby’s PKard suite of applications the solution will enable access to high-security Web sites via Apple iOS devices. [end] 

The U.S. Social Security Administration contracted with Experian to add fraud prevention services for secure authentication to access the new online Social Security Statement.

The new online Social Security Statement provides Social Security earnings and benefit information, as well as estimates to help people plan for retirement. It also gives estimates for disability and survivors benefits. With the online statement, users can see whether their earnings are accurately posted to their Social Security records.
