DaonEngine Version 4.0 released
Daon has released its DaonEngine Version 4.0 software which extends its support for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and allows their customers to offer biometric identity services to all applications, both internal and external. They have also been contracted by a major U.S. government agency to license the software. DaonEngine 4.0 offers enhanced fusion and normalization support, asynchronous operations, NIST processing, systems monitoring support as well as Java Message Service (JMS) support.
Daon recently received the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Award for Global Biometrics Product Line Strategy Leadership. “Just as we have observed that shift in the database and ERP markets, we are now seeing that trend in the identity assurance space. The adoption of Daon’s mature platform by customers around the world is one example of this trend,” according to Dilip Sarangan, Lead Analyst for Frost & Sullivan’s Security Practice.
