IdentiPHI CEO steps down
Steve Oyer has stepped down from his position as chairman and CEO of IdentiPHI, an Austin, Texas-based biometrics developer.
Oyer served as Chairman and CEO since the company’s merger with Saflink, and following the success of the merger he has decided to pursue other interests. His resignation is effective July 21.
Following Oyer’s departure, IdentiPHI named current board member, past president of Precise Biometrics, and past CEO of VIDAR Systems, Christer Bergman, as interim CEO.
Other members of IdentiPHI’s board report that they are comfortable and happy with Bergman’s taking over of the CEO position as he has a proven track record in the industry and is already very familiar with the company’s inner-workings due to his time spent on the board of directors. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/thirdfactor-4.gif)
